Ironic dumping of garbage under “Do not litter” boardsFootpaths near More supermarkets have garbage dumped on them by residents and shopkeepers in the vicinity. This is rather ironic as there is a “Do not throw garbage here” signboard at the very same spot, which further says that violators will be penalized by the authorities. But the presence of garbage makes it very clear that there is no action being taken against the violators. Issuing such sign boards will cease to have any meaning or effect after a certain while.
