Drain repair works were carried out recently in Doddamma layout, Hulimavu. These drains have not been closed or even temporarily covered after the completion of the work. Residents have no choice but to place makeshift bridges over the drains to access their homes. The debris of the previous drain covers have added to the traffic congestion of this already small lane.
