Broken slabs on the footpath near Royal Meenakshi Mall are a hazard to the public. The main cause for the slabs to break is the poor construction of the same. The problem has increased since 2-wheelers drive on the footpaths, causing more damage. Few slabs have come off entirely, which may lead to people falling into the drain.
