Bagh Botanical Garden is an iconic tourist spot in Bengaluru. Despite this, it faces neglect in terms of cleanliness. Tourists lack the social courtesy to dispose of trash appropriately and the issue worsens with the lack of any response from the authorities. All the garbage has been dumped at various spots near Kempe Gowda’s Watchtower in Lalbagh. The irony of the situation is that this very Watchtower is the symbol of the BBMP (Bengaluru’s municipal corporation).
